Job description

As a Technical Writer here at Honeywell, you will create clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation that supports our aerospace products and systems. You will collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to gather detailed information and ensure the accuracy and clarity of technical content for diverse audiences. You will report directly to our Mechanical Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Lansdale, PA location on a 9/80 work schedule. In this role, you will impact on the quality and usability of technical documentation that supports product development, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance within the aerospace sector.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain technical documentation including manuals, guides, and specifications for aerospace products and systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and quality teams to gather and verify technical information.
  • Ensure documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • YOU MUST HAVE
  • 5+ years' experience in technical writing, preferably within aerospace or related industries.
  • 5+ years with authoring tools such as MS Office, Adobe or similar software.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • WE VALUE
  • Experience with use of Siemens Teamcenter PLM data management system is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of technical writing principles, documentation standards, and aerospace industry regulations and military electronics test requirements.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and interpret complex technical information to produce clear, concise documentation.
  • Familiarity with aerospace product lifecycle and quality standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working in aerospace or high-technology environments
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards in aerospace and military standards.
