Location: Remote but must reside in WA, OR, TX, ATL, ID
Duration: 1 yr contract + annual extensions and eventual FTE conversion
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in UX writing / content design
- Experience writing consumer facing copy for digital products, apps, and interfaces
- Experience collaborating cross functionally with UX design, development and marketing teams on content design and strategy
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and expectations in a cross functional, agile environment
- Experience transforming bland or dry content into a delightful, fun and modern tone
- Experience writing engaging instructional and informative content such as product descriptions, onboarding, step by step guides, while maintaining an upbeat and friendly brand voice
Day to Day: An enterprise Technology client is seeking a UX Writer / Content Designer for a large product development project involving several cross functional teams. In this role, you will create engaging content for an enhanced customer product experience, ensuring clarity and consistency in tone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clear and concise content for web and mobile applications.
- Maintain a consistent and engaging tone.
- Collaborate with UX Designers, software developers, and other teams.
- Use JIRA for documentation and ticketing.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in creating instructional content for mobile and web applications.
- Ability to provide writing samples that instruct and call users to action.
- This is a hands-on writing role with a focus on UX writing for digital experiences on desktop and mobile platforms.
