About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Content Lead to drive our content function across brand, product, and business verticals. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the BFSI, broking, and trading ecosystem, exceptional storytelling skills, and the ability to lead a team while building scalable content processes. This role requires a data-driven mindset, ownership of content initiatives, and a deep understanding of financial markets, trading products, investor behavior, and capital market trends to create impactful content that educates, engages, and drives business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the content team, providing direction, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality output.
- Own and drive end-to-end content initiatives aligned with business, marketing, and product goals.
- Develop and execute content strategies across the customer lifecycle, from awareness to retention.
- Create and oversee long-form and short-form content including blogs, articles, reports, landing pages, newsletters, scripts, and marketing copies.
- Write and review compelling content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
- Build data-backed narratives using market research, customer insights, industry trends, and internal analytics.
- Launch and scale new content IPs, thought leadership programs, and educational content series.
- Establish content processes, workflows, governance frameworks, and playbooks to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Define, extend, and implement the brand’s tone of voice across all customer touchpoints.
- Collaborate closely with research, product, design, brand, performance marketing, and leadership teams to deliver impactful content.
- Stay updated on financial markets, broking trends, SEBI regulations, investment products, trading platforms, and evolving customer needs.
- Track content performance, generate insights, and continuously optimize content strategies using data and analytics.
Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or content leadership roles within BFSI, fintech, broking, trading, or financial services.
Required Skills
- Must have strong knowledge and hands-on understanding of the trading and broking industry, including equity, derivatives, commodities, market participants, trading platforms, and capital market products.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, trading, investing, wealth management, and the broader BFSI ecosystem.
- Ability to create and review content related to trading, investing, market trends, financial products, and regulatory developments with accuracy and authority.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring content teams.
- Exceptional long-form and short-form writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience creating marketing copies, thought leadership articles, educational content, and customer communication.
- Strong ability to simplify complex financial concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience building content frameworks, workflows, editorial calendars, and operational playbooks.
- Demonstrated success in launching and scaling content programs or content IPs.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for content planning and performance optimization.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Outstanding command of English with strong attention to detail, grammar, and editorial quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the BFSI sector.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies.
