Technical Writer

Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Program Management Office (PMO) supporting cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a proven track record of driving cross-functional alignment through documentation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $55 - $60 per hour

What's the Job?

• Maintain and evolve core process frameworks and methodologies, including the Zoox Development Life Cycle (ZDLC) documentation.
• Drive standardization of program management documentation across different domains, focusing on decision-making processes, timeline and scope documentation, and release planning.
• Establish and maintain documentation standards for critical program management artifacts.
• Perform regular audits and updates of PMO documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Create and maintain templates that drive consistency in program documentation across teams.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Communications, or a technology-related field.
• 6-8 years of experience developing and maintaining process documentation in a technology or engineering environment.
• Experience with documentation tools, particularly Confluence and Google Workspace.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and program management methodologies.
• Experience in process mapping and documentation of complex workflows.
