The Role

Catalyst is looking for an experienced Web3 Content Strategist to lead client accounts and deliver impactful content strategies rooted in platform performance, trend analysis, and strong editorial judgment. This is a client-facing role that blends content strategy, project management, and thought leadership development. You'll be the strategic partner to founders and executives across the Web3 ecosystem—helping them define their voice, grow their audience, and drive business outcomes through consistent, high-quality content.

Responsibilities

  • Own client relationships and serve as the strategic point of contact for all things content
  • Build and maintain content calendars that align with client KPIs and platform trends
  • Lead monthly content planning calls and translate founder insights into strategic direction
  • Support and guide writers with strategic briefs and timely, constructive feedback
  • Perform final edits and reviews to ensure content is on-brand, high-quality, and ready to publish
  • Analyze content performance across LinkedIn and blogs, providing actionable insights
  • Stay ahead of industry and platform trends (especially within Web3) to inform strategy
  • Document and refine SOPs, playbooks, and best practices in Notion
  • Track client satisfaction, flag potential risks, and identify upsell opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal team members on deliverables, project timelines, and creative direction

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in content strategy or account management roles (agency experience preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of the Web3 space, including Payment rails, DeFi, L2s, and other crypto-native concepts
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Demonstrated success growing brands or individuals through LinkedIn or blogging
  • Experience reviewing and editing high-level written content
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with content analytics and ability to translate data into strategy
  • Proficiency in Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, and project management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while delivering top-tier service and results

Nice to Have

  • Ghostwriting or thought leadership writing experience for founders or execs
  • Experience creating content frameworks or scalable editorial systems
  • Background in brand or platform strategy within Web3 or tech
  • Comfort using AI tools and other writing accelerators
  • A creative, curious mindset and willingness to experiment
