Job Title: Content Strategist

We are seeking a creative, organized, and performance-driven Content Strategist to join our team. The Content Strategist will lead the development of social media strategies, ad briefs, manage creative production timelines, build marketing calendars to support yearly and quarterly campaign and consumer moments, and collaborate with internal and external design and paid media teams.
The Content Strategist will be responsible for developing ad briefs, building and managing marketing calendars, conducting A/B tests, managing production and delivery timelines, and delivering detailed performance reports with actionable insights.
We are looking for an organized, self-starter who is confident in driving positive, measurable outcomes by thinking outside of the box, developing a strategic plan, and seeing it through.
This role will oversee a portfolio of brands in the beauty, home decor, and lifestyle industries.
Job Description:
- Work with client teams to develop and maintain annual marketing calendars inclusive of key brand moments, product launches, and seasonal trends.
- Build content calendars and campaign roadmaps to support full-funnel marketing initiatives and improve the performance of paid media campaigns.
- Develop detailed ad briefs for creative teams, including platform specifications, audience insights, and performance goals and tailored for different formats (brand video, static, carousel, UGC, etc.).
- Partner with media planners and buyers to align content strategy with paid media goals and audience targeting.
- Work closely with creative teams to ensure content strategies are consistent across platforms and touchpoints.
- Analyze performance of live content and monitor content from competitor brands to identify content gaps and opportunities for optimizing content.
- Own A/B testing for paid content campaigns, including setting up test structures, analyzing results, and recommending optimizations.
- Develop and present detailed performance reports with actionable insights, including A/B test outcomes, audience engagement, and creative performance
- Present insights and recommendations to internal teams and clients, providing data-backed strategies for future campaigns.
- Analyze performance data at the creative, audience, and platform level to identify key drivers of success and underperformance.
- Create and maintain a performance tracking framework to evaluate content and campaign impact.
- Develop Social Media strategies for Organic campaigns across Meta and TikTok.
- Be a self-starter who is three steps ahead of the due-date and initiates the next steps within external and internal teams.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in paid content strategy, preferably at an agency or in a DTC brand environment.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing and content’s role in driving acquisition and retention. Familiarity with a traditional marketing funnel and media terminology.
- Experience with paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube), programmatic platforms, influencer partnerships, and high-impact display ads.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc.) to inform content strategy and campaign adjustments.
- Experience creating and managing marketing calendars and content schedules.
- Proven track record of setting up, managing, and analyzing A/B tests for content optimization.
- Strong experience in developing ad briefs and guiding creative production.
- Proficiency in content design terminology (e.g., pixels, aspect ratios, file formats, dimensions, and bit rates) to effectively communicate with creative teams and ensure content meets platform specifications
- Highly organized with strong project, self, and time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and experience managing up. Ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision-making.
