What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Gather, analyze, and document business, technical, and operational requirements from stakeholders and delivery teams
- Produce clear and accurate documentation including user stories, process flows, SOPs, and training materials
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to capture and clarify business requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, product, and government teams to ensure alignment on project scope and deliverables
- Review documentation for consistency, usability, quality, and compliance with project standards
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Information Systems, Technical Writing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, business analysis, requirements gathering, or related roles supporting technology projects
- Strong experience creating documentation for software delivery, APIs, integrations, and technical workflows
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other federal government programs
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability, API documentation, or integration workflows
- Experience creating process diagrams, workflow maps, or requirements traceability matrices
- Knowledge of SAFe, DevSecOps, or release management practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government clearance
