TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Content Designer
Pay Rate Range: $59 - $73 per hour
Duration: This is a 4.5 month contract located in Toronto, ON/ Hybrid (3 days/ week)
Job Description
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as Content Designer
- 2+ experience with Figma
- 2+ years of experience with content writing for web or mobile applications
- 2+ years of CX research experience
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Previous experience designing new web layouts
- Previous experience in SEO and GEO is very nice to have
- Previous experience as Designer with ecommerce industry is nice to have
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention and accountability to detail
- Strong stakeholder management skills, working across business lines, marketing, legal, digital and design
- Storytelling and communication skills: you can translate complexity into clarity, advocate for content in cross-functional environments, and handle stakeholders and feedback with confidence and tact
- Positive, can-do, open mindset
- Problem-solving aptitude
Degrees or certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience – preferred fields: design, communication, journalism, media
- SEO certification is an asset, GEO training a bonus
Selection process:
1-2 rounds of interviews.
- First round would for 30 mins Video MS teams interview. With HM and Senior Team member. Technical and Behavioral questions based on previous work history
- Second round will be in person based on how first round of interviews progress. With HM and Director
