Project Overview: The UX Content Designer will join a cross-functional team focused on designing end-to-end experiences for connected TV platforms. This includes smart TVs, gaming consoles, set-top boxes, smart displays, speakers, and streaming devices. The platform is one of the fastest-growing areas in digital media, reaching hundreds of millions of viewers daily. The mission is to deliver seamless, engaging, and accessible content experiences in the living room environment.
Top Responsibilities:
- Interface writing: Craft clear, concise, and user-friendly language for TV-based interfaces.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to align requirements, design goals, and business objectives with a strong user focus.
- Style guide adherence: Apply platform-wide and product-specific style guidelines consistently.
- Documentation: Create and maintain writing guidelines for internal stakeholders.
- Scalable content design: Define and document principles and patterns to ensure consistency across platforms.
- Relationship building: Collaborate with content design partners across multiple products to drive alignment and consistency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Literature, Business, Marketing, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of UX writing or content design experience, including leading content strategy projects.
- Proven experience in UX-focused product writing and content design across multiple platforms.
- Background in global brands/experiences, including localization and internationalization (i18n).
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
- Strong analytical thinking about customer journeys and content flows, with ability to frame and scale solutions.
- Comfort with A/B testing—hypothesis formation and iteration based on results.
- Highly collaborative, self-directed, and adaptable.
- Portfolio showcasing UX writing samples and style guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of industry experience in UX content design.
- Strong writing and editing skills for media experiences across multiple platforms, including TV.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into plain, accessible language.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration with UX, engineering, and product management teams.
