Become a Senior Content Strategist and bring your skills in crafting effective content to engage the users in more meaningful ways, and help give the content discipline a voice in the LEGO Group.

Core Responsibilities

As Senior Content Strategist, you will be working with all areas of the organisation, and your tasks will include:

  • Creating and developing multiple content and “always-on” strategies for prioritized LEGO audiences across social and owned channels.
  • Defining and influencing “always-on”/real-time cycle to work.
  • Co-developing content pillars and models to aid creative.
  • Defining and presenting creative briefs and consumer/audience journeys into owned experiences.
  • Interpreting the global Social Media strategy to influence content and always-on/real time strategies.
  • Using social listening and external signals to strategy.
  • Bringing innovative ideas and new ways of approaching our prioritised audience.

The LEGO Agency is the global LEGO in-house advertising agency, creating award-winning and compelling content and campaigns for the LEGO brand. The Global Communication Strategy department is all about understanding audience behaviours and inspiring creative work. The team leads and develops strategies for all LEGO channels, earned, owned and paid.

Do you have what it takes?

The right candidate demonstrates a deep understanding of complex audience behaviors and knowledge of platforms on where they are, and have a strong knowledge of social media platforms, both earned and paid. Furthermore, you have an outstanding ability to bridge the strategic and creative skillset to deliver on objectives.

It is an advantage to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Digital, Communications or similar.
  • +5 years’ experience in social media marketing, real time marketing or content marketing, and experience working with content models.
  • An ability to stay ahead and move with platforms, reacting to changes in new technologies and formats.
  • A deep and thorough understanding of social media platforms and how they work, with a consistent record of having worked on and created content across multiple brands.
  • A passion for social media and an excellent understanding of the leading platforms and the content that excels on them.
  • Proven experience growing online audiences through content models – earned and paid.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, and proficiency in English.
  • Creative eye and instinctive knowledge of what excels on platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to influence creative.
