Technical Writer

Bennett Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking Technical Writer in Arlington, VA. The Technical Writer will create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation supporting all required taskings requested by Training Division management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy and build relationships with internal employees and outside sources.
• Ability to develop organizational strategies to formulate an implementation plan.
• Must possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Write and edit user-friendly content for various types of documentation, including user guides, manuals, tutorials, and providing weekly/monthly status reports.
• Organize and maintain a centralized repository of all documentation and update, as needed, to reflect product changes and enhancements.
• Editing/proofing policy directives and the strategic plan for grammatical and formatting errors and content inconsistencies
• Gathering information from various sources, providing data analysis and recommending process improvements.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to change.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Two years of specialized experience in the duties described above.
• Effective technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Must be proficient in MS Office software.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Government Technical Writing support

Clearance Level Required: Public Trust to Top Secret Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements. Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Successful Pass of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening and Credit Check.
