Title: Content Strategist IV
Duration: 6 months contract
Location: San Francisco-Remote
Pay Range: $64/hr. on w2 without benefits.
The main function of a content strategist is to partner with designers, product managers, researchers, and product marketers to plan and create the content for products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, write, edit, test, and improve content that makes our products easier to use. This includes product flows, interface language, education materials, product names, navigational nomenclature, terminology, taxonomies and other content across client products and experiences.
- Give and solicit feedback from your UX design peers in service of building the best products.
- Contribute to projects in ways that enhance the clarity and usability of product experiences.
- Edit and contribute to designs and content in Figma, Sketch or other design tools.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, research, marketing, and data science.
- Partner with our internationalization and localization teams to ensure product experiences are of the highest quality in every language.
- Responsible for strategizing and developing content, improving content performance, researching, writing, and editing.
- Improve content performance and design product flows, names, and building content standards, terminology definitions and UX guides.
Qualifications:
- Experience must include 5 years of experience in the following skills and technologies.
- Writing and designing content for web or mobile.
- Simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences.
- UX writing and communication.
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams, examples include legal, policy, marketing, localization, and production teams.
- Has excellent time management and can prioritize multiple asks and feedback.
- Leans into multiple teams and voices being involved. Knows how to respond to feedback in a timely manner and communicate progress to partners.
- Is proactive about asking questions and seeking answers independently.
- Forms relationships with cross-functional partners and has a track record of building trustworthy relationships.
- Applies content strategy to their work so there is consistency and clarity across products.
- Has experience working with internal tools as well as consumer-facing products.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
