The Copywriter/Content Strategist is responsible for developing high-quality written content that supports the companies brand, marketing campaigns, and overall communication strategy. This role combines strong writing skills with strategic thinking to ensure all content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals. Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field is required
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of professional copywriting, content marketing, or editorial experience.
- Proven experience writing B2B content such as blogs, case studies, whitepapers, email campaigns, and social media posts
- Experience working in professional services, consulting, or technology industries is a plus
- Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to translate complex subject matter into clear, concise, and engaging content
- Strong understanding of content strategy best practices, including SEO, audience segmentation, and brand voice
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaboration skills and the ability to partner with subject matter experts across the organization
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, platforms, and industry topics
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications; familiarity with CMS and marketing automation tools is helpful
Requirements
- Develop and write content for blogs, case studies, whitepapers, landing pages, email campaigns, digital ads, and social media
- Conduct interviews with internal subject matter experts to extract insights and develop impactful narratives
- Ensure all content supports marketing goals, brand messaging, and campaign strategies
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and brand consistency
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director on content calendars, strategic messaging, and campaign planning
- Optimize content for SEO and digital performance when appropriate
- Maintain consistent brand voice and tone across all communications
- Regularly reviews and updates existing content to maintain relevance, accuracy and SEO performance
- Assist with internal communications, website updates, and presentation materials as needed
