Job Title: UX Content Designer
Location: Remote
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate remotely with product designers, managers, researchers, and developers to create user-centric copy for navigation, error states, onboarding, and other UX elements.
- Contribute to and maintain a content style guide for consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Participate in user research and use data-driven insights to enhance content effectiveness and user engagement.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and industry standards in collaboration with legal and business strategy teams.
- Integrate UX writing into overall content design goals with the broader content team.
- Adapt to changing project timelines and requirements proactively.
- Develop and document content and information architecture for smooth user flows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant writing experience for digital audiences; experience in healthcare or insurance is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing intuitive UX writing samples.
- Understanding of Web Accessibility Content Guidelines (WCAG) and experience writing accessible content.
- Experience with content style guides; contributing to their creation is a plus.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, Microsoft 365, Jira, and other design tools.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
