Content Strategist
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid - 2/3 days in-office)
Work Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
Start Date: July 1st (Flexible)
Experience Required: 3 - 5 years in marketing
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Performance: Generate monthly content ideas aligned with client goals, ensure visibility in AI search/LLMs, monitor results (traffic, acquisition, rankings), and present outcomes in Looker dashboards.
- Content Production Process: Lead expert interviews, prepare questions, manage Trello workflows, and coordinate writers through drafts to final Clearscope-optimized articles.
- Editing & Publishing: Edit and finalize drafts, manage client feedback, and upload polished articles into the client's CMS.
- Client Management: Conduct weekly/fortnightly calls, provide status updates, handle inquiries, and manage scope.
- Writing: Contribute to content creation for clients and internal teams.
- Collaboration: Participate in strategy calls, brainstorming sessions, and monthly one-on-ones for career development.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of marketing experience.
- Strong attitude, excellent writing skills, and strategic thinking.
- Clarity of thought and ability to construct logical arguments in writing.
- Highly curious with a commitment to deep research on topics.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on the bigger picture.
- Growth mindset: open to feedback, new processes, and continuous skill improvement.
- Empathetic approach to readers and clients.
- Willingness to learn about the financial services/fintech sector (fintech background not required).
