Healthcare/Pharma CX Strategist

Position: Associate Director, Content Strategy

Type: Full-Time starts around the week of 4/7

Location: Chicago (ideally) or NYC or Kansas City - onsite 3-4 days a week and remote 1 - 2 days

Overview: The Associate Director, Content Strategy, will be responsible for developing and guiding content strategies for a wide range of digital content projects, including website redesigns and re-platforming initiatives, ongoing content marketing efforts, and comprehensive end-to-end customer experience (CX) engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Strategy and Curation:

- Design and implement content strategies to support CX and website redesign projects.

- Conduct quantitative, qualitative, and competitive content audits.

- Develop content briefs, calendars, and launch plans to guide project execution.

• Project Guidance And Client Leadership

- Manage project work and build strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.

- Lead content teams to deliver high-quality work on schedule.

- Scope, staff, and estimate levels of effort (LOE) and timing for project plans.

- Facilitate internal and client-facing content strategy workshops.

• Team Management And Mentorship

- Supervise up to four junior team members in the department.

- Guide their professional development and help them set and achieve annual career goals.

- Conduct weekly 30-minute one-on-one sessions with direct reports to provide support and guidance.

• Business Development And Growth

- Contribute to new business efforts, including responding to RFIs/RFPs and participating in pitches.

- Provide initial scoping and staffing estimations to assist in budget discussions.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in a content strategy or equivalent role, preferably in an agency setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a passion for digital storytelling.
• A forward-thinking approach to solving problems and improving processes.
• Strong understanding of current digital design practices and technologies.
• Ability to independently drive projects forward with minimal direction.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
