Are you passionate about telling stories that make a real impact on families and young people around the world? At Cultural Care Au Pair, you’ll lead content strategy that brings our global community to life—shaping narratives that inspire families to open their homes and hearts to cultural exchange.

Culture Care Au Pair is looking for an experienced Senior Content Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead content creation across digital, social, email, print, and video platforms, ensuring that content is engaging, aligned with brand messaging, and supports marketing goals. You will also leverage AI tools to optimize content creation and enhance efficiency.

Your responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce content for both digital and offline channels, from social media campaigns to SEO, managing freelance copy and content writers, and overseeing project timelines. You will balance organization and creativity, ensuring high-quality, impactful content that resonates with both Host Families and Au Pairs. You’ll work in the Boston office, regularly collaborating with the team in Zurich, Switzerland and beyond to localize and elevate content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Who You Are

You are a strategic storyteller with strong experience in content creation, project management, and using technology to enhance content workflows. You thrive at the intersection of creativity and execution, overseeing the ideation and production of content across digital and print channels. With a strong editorial background, you are confident in managing complex projects, ensuring content is on-brand, SEO-optimized, and aligned with broader business objectives. You work closely with cross-functional teams, driving storytelling that resonates and delivers impact.

Your Responsibilities

  • Content Development: Lead and execute a content strategy that delivers measurable impact for both Host Families and Au Pairs.
  • Campaign & Calendar Planning: Develop and deliver an integrated content calendar that aligns with marketing goals across digital, print, and video channels.
  • Content Management & Creation: Oversee the creation of content across digital ads, social media, email, websites, podcasts, and mobile-first platforms, ensuring consistency and editorial standards
  • Storytelling & Copy Direction: Lead messaging and copy development, creating engaging stories that reflect the mission and values of the au pair program across channels.
  • SEO & Channel Optimization: Apply SEO best practices and leverage AI tools to increase visibility, engagement, and performance across platforms.
  • Performance & Analysis: Measure content performance through engagement metrics, SEO ranking, lead generation, and brand sentiment—using data to inform continuous improvement.
  • Creative Production: Manage ideation, scripts, and storyboards for video/photo production of campaigns and marketing materials. Oversee production logistics, ensuring smooth communication with families and au pairs, and conduct interviews on set to capture compelling stories.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects, allocate resources, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Freelance Management: Coordinate with external freelancers and collaborate with internal teams (Creative, Marketing, Design, Paid Media) to meet content needs.

What You'll Love About This Role

  • Owning the full content journey—from concept to creation to impact
  • Telling real stories that change lives and bridge cultures
  • Working in a creative, fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Collaborating with international teammates across time zones and cultures
  • Being part of a brand that’s transforming the future of childcare and cultural exchange

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years’ experience in content creation, strategy, and production across digital and print.
  • Experience with B2C or mission-driven brands is ideal.
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end content campaigns and video/photo productions, including on-set coordination and logistics.
  • Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across different channels and audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO and digital content performance best practices, along with experience leveraging AI tools for content optimization.
  • Experience managing social media content, trends, formats, and mobile-first strategies, ensuring content is optimized for mobile platforms.
  • A confident project manager with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience leading and mentoring content teams and freelancers.
  • Collaboration skills with the ability to align teams around shared goals.
