About The Role
DevSavant is looking for a highly skilled Technical Writer to join their growing team. This person will play a key role in creating, updating, and maintaining internal and external product documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and product help content. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can distill complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
Responsibilities
- Research, outline, and write high-quality documentation for Qount’s products, including:
- Help center articles
- API documentation
- Product release notes
- Internal process documentation
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to gather technical information.
- Translate complex technical concepts into digestible content tailored to end users, developers, and internal teams.
- Maintain and organize the content repository, ensuring consistency in tone, terminology, and structure.
- Proactively update documentation in line with product changes and feature rollouts.
- Support visual documentation by creating or collaborating on diagrams, workflows, screenshots, and short video walkthroughs.
- Help define and standardize Qount’s content style guide and documentation strategy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing for software products or SaaS platforms.
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal).
- Experience writing API documentation and working with OpenAPI/Swagger is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Markdown, HTML, or documentation tools like Confluence, Notion, or Git-based systems.
- Ability to synthesize technical discussions into user-focused content.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with creating or editing visual content (e.g., screen recordings, product gifs, or diagrams) is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- English Level: C1
