Job description
Trailhead is Salesforce's free online learning platform and the front door to the Salesforce ecosystem. It empowers anyone to build in-demand skills across AI, Agentforce, CRM, data, and business fundamentals — and helps organizations re-skill their workforce for the agentic era. The Trailhead Content team generates ideas, writes and edits content, develops hands-on challenges, and publishes and maintains the learning content that makes all of this possible. We believe content should be accessible, educational, relevant, and enjoyable. This is your chance to be part of it.
Role Description
As a Content Strategist, Product Enablement, you drive the strategy, governance, and execution of product enablement content that helps Salesforce sellers build the knowledge they need to succeed. You partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales Leadership, CX, and Product to translate product priorities and go-to-market motions into learner-centered content experiences for internal sellers. This is a high-impact role for a strategic contributor who keeps the learner at the center of every decision and thrives in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
Your Impact
Success in this role is measured by your ability to unify seller content strategy, drive measurable improvements in seller readiness, and build trusted cross-functional partnerships.
- Lead content strategy for seller-facing learning paths and knowledge resources, creating a single unified content plan across PMM, Sales Leadership, CX, and Product.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships, onboarding new stakeholders into content strategy workflows and aligning on shared outcomes.
- Use seller engagement data, completion rates, and feedback to identify knowledge gaps and drive measurable improvements in seller readiness.
- Track how content strategies translate to seller knowledge and performance and adjust proactively when they do not.
- Build governance that sets content quality standards and creates content rebuild cycles that optimizes reuse across seller audiences.
- Present recommendations with clear narrative and supporting data to team leadership and senior stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in content strategy, instructional design, or content development within a technology or enterprise learning environment.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead content strategy initiatives end-to-end, from audit and discovery through execution and measurement.
- Data fluency: You use learner engagement data, completion rates, and feedback to validate content strategy — and you help others understand what the data does and doesn't say.
- Communication: You communicate strategy clearly to writers, editors, and product stakeholders, leading with the "why" before the "what."
- Collaboration: You build trusted relationships with stakeholders beyond the immediate team and influence content direction through well-reasoned, data-backed recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with sales enablement or go-to-market teams to develop learning programs.
- Background in instructional design principles or adult learning theory.
- Familiarity with how AI tools are reshaping content creation, curation, and personalization — and the ability to incorporate that into strategy planning.
- Active Salesforce certifications or a strong Trailhead profile.
What We Look For In Every Hire
- Learner-first mindset: You keep the learner's perspective at the center of every content strategy decision and ensure content programs reflect the full diversity of Trailhead's learner base.
- Clear communicator: You can create strong narratives that are jargon-free and influence outcomes.
- Collaborative by default: You seek out other perspectives, share your work early, and give feedback that drives improvement.
- High ownership: You are accountable for outcomes, proactive about blockers, and willing to raise concerns — even under pressure to move fast.
- Curious about AI and technology: You actively explore how AI tools can improve content strategy and your personal workflow, and you evaluate tools thoughtfully that solve for real business problems.
Benefits & Perks
- Comprehensive benefits package including well-being reimbursement, generous parental leave, adoption assistance, fertility benefits, and more!

- Exposure to executive thought leaders and regular 1:1 coaching with leadership
