Content Strategist – Senior
We are seeking a Content Strategist to define and shape content experiences that help users achieve their goals while advancing business objectives. Working closely with strategists, designers, researchers, product teams, and client stakeholders, you will develop content strategies, information architectures, messaging frameworks, and governance approaches that improve the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of digital experiences.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, user-centered design principles, and practical content planning. You'll help ensure content is relevant, useful, accessible, and aligned with both customer needs and organizational priorities.

Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop content strategies that support business goals, customer needs, and digital experience objectives.
- Audit, analyze, and assess existing content ecosystems to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Define content requirements for new digital products, websites, and customer journeys.
- Define structured content models that support scalability, reuse, personalization, and omnichannel delivery.
- Experience Design Collaboration
- Partner with UX designers, researchers, and strategists to create intuitive and meaningful user experiences.
- Contribute to information architecture, navigation design, user flows, and journey mapping activities.
- Ensure content supports key tasks and decision-making moments across customer journeys.
- Content Governance & Optimization
- Establish content standards, workflows, and governance practices.
- Promote accessibility, inclusivity, and plain language principles.
- Establish content measurement approaches and success metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Present strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions that align content decisions with customer and business outcomes.
- Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams and client organizations.
- Lead or participate in workshops, stakeholder interviews, and collaborative design sessions.
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, UX writing, content design, information architecture, or related disciplines.
- Experience creating content strategies for websites, digital products, customer portals, or mobile experiences.
- Experience advising on and applying user-centered design principles and digital experience best practices.
- Experience collaborating with UX, Design, Research, Technology, and Product teams throughout project delivery.
- Knowledge of personalization, omnichannel content delivery, and modern digital experience platforms.
- Knowledge of information architecture, metadata, taxonomy, SEO, and content governance concepts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience developing presentations and delivering them to peers, other teams, and senior leadership
- Ability to translate complex business and customer needs into actionable content recommendations.
- Experience applying accessibility standards and inclusive content practices.
- Experience within financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Contentful, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and other similar platforms
- Experience defining structured content models and supporting content migrations.

Additional Information
This role represents an active vacancy at Havas. The hourly range for this position is $60-80, with final compensation determined based on factors such as work location, skills, experience, and background.
