Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Content Strategist located in Oklahoma City, OK. This is not a traditional copywriting role. We're looking for a talented marketer with exceptional writing skills, strong curiosity, and the ability to contribute across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate understands how content, websites, SEO, social media, creative strategy, and digital marketing work together to help businesses grow. This role will primarily support website development, content strategy, SEO initiatives, and campaign messaging while also contributing to social media efforts, digital marketing initiatives, and emerging AI-powered marketing solutions. As High Five Media continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to expand beyond traditional content responsibilities and contribute to new services, products, workflows, and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop content, messaging, and marketing strategies for client campaigns and initiatives
- Create website copy, landing pages, SEO content, and other digital marketing materials
- Support website development projects through content planning, organization, and messaging
- Contribute to SEO initiatives through content creation, optimization, research, and strategy
- Assist with social media content, campaign concepts, and cross-channel marketing efforts
- Collaborate with designers, account managers, strategists, and digital marketing specialists
- Research industries, audiences, competitors, and market trends to support marketing recommendations
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing performance, workflows, and client outcomes
- Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, creativity, and execution
- Contribute ideas for new products, services, and internal process improvements
- Take ownership of projects and help solve challenges across multiple areas of the business
- Conduct content audits and identify opportunities to improve website performance, messaging, and user experience
Required Qualifications
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Experience creating content for websites, marketing campaigns, social media, or digital channels
- Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies, tools, and processes
- Strong research, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SEO content strategy and keyword research
- Experience writing website copy and landing pages
- Experience using AI-assisted content workflows
- Experience supporting social media marketing initiatives
- Understanding of user experience (UX) and website best practices
- Experience contributing to marketing strategy, campaign planning, or creative development

A Typical Day

- Writing website copy, landing pages, SEO content, or campaign messaging
- Collaborating with designers and strategists to bring marketing ideas to life
- Reviewing website content and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Using AI tools to accelerate research, content development, and creative problem-solving
- Contributing ideas during campaign planning, brainstorming sessions, and internal strategy discussions
- Supporting social media, digital marketing, and content initiatives across multiple clients
- Solving unexpected challenges and helping teammates move projects forward
- Looking for ways to improve processes, workflows, and client outcomes
Some days may be heavily focused on writing and content creation. Other days may involve strategy discussions, research, problem-solving, client projects, or helping shape new initiatives within the agency.
