To help grow this business in a fast-paced, competitive landscape, HP is seeking a content strategist to help facilitate the dynamic sharing of knowledge across the organization. This new position will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies and initiatives to support the Workforce Solutions business unit, starting with Portfolio and Product Management. Specifically, this role will design and implement a strategy to build an “organizational memory” that will help us improve decision-making and capitalize on lessons learned. To be successful in this role, you will need to be experienced in driving transformation and change within a large organization, with a keen focus on building a culture of continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate loves communication, people and data. You will apply a systematic approach, using the latest technology, to capture, structure, manage and share knowledge. Responsibilities

  • Build content strategy: Develop and implement content strategies and processes to support the Workforce Solutions Portfolio Strategy and Management team, including documentation, databases, and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Teams and HP’s intranet.
  • Reduce friction: Maintain and continuously improve the integration between SharePoint, HP’s intranet and other databases and applications, reducing friction for users by enabling seamless data flow.
  • Connect the dots: Collaborate across functional teams to identify opportunities for content sharing across the organization; propose and build solutions to share knowledge effectively.
  • Make it easy: Establish and manage taxonomy, terminology, categories, metadata, and content classification for easy retrieval and accessibility of information for consumers of the information.
  • Champion a learning culture: Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, ownership & accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Measure and adjust: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the knowledge management initiatives to learn, try to new approaches and grow.

Education & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in content management or strategy practices
  • Fluent English is essential (this person will report to a global team).
  • Associate’s degree (or commensurate work experience).
  • Designing and implementing content strategies and supporting processes across large organizations.
  • Establishing, managing and optimizing integrated knowledge repositories and collaboration spaces including tools such as Sharepoint/Confluence, company intranets, Teams or Jira.
  • Implementing taxonomies, tagging systems, versioning, metadata to categorize and classify knowledge assets to enable quick and accurate retrieval.
  • Leading or supporting process improvement, project management and/or change management.
  • Creating, managing and optimizing complex SharePoint (or other collaboration) sites.
  • Communicating with, working with, and influencing senior leaders.
