Job description
Role Summary:
Responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing high-quality technical documentation across the Software Engineering Centre of Excellence (CoE). Works closely with engineering squads, architects, product owners, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured, and consumable documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Ensures documentation standards, consistency, and knowledge management practices are embedded across engineering delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical documentation standards, templates, and governance across the Software Engineering CoE.
- Create and manage software engineering documentation including API documentation, system design documents, operational runbooks, user guides, onboarding guides, and release notes
- Work closely with software engineering squads, architects, DevOps, QA, and Product Owners to gather technical information and translate it into clear documentation.
- Produce documentation for internal platforms, engineering accelerators, integration services, and AI-enabled products.
- Ensure documentation is aligned to Agile delivery cycles and updated continuously as part of sprint execution and release management.
- Create knowledge management structures and repositories to improve engineering knowledge sharing and reusability
- Support governance and audit readiness through accurate maintenance of operational and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to simplify complex technical concepts for executive, operational, and business audiences. Drive documentation quality reviews and version control processes.
- Support onboarding and enablement of new engineers through structured technical learning content and guides.
- Partner with Business Operations and Delivery leads to ensure operational processes and technical dependencies are documented and maintained.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications, Technical Writing, or related field preferred.
Experience:
- At least 8–10 years of experience in technical writing within software engineering, technology, or digital transformation environments.
- Experience working within Agile software delivery teams and engineering environments
- Experience documenting APIs, cloud platforms, DevOps processes, system integrations, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, Markdown, Swagger/Open API, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, DevOps, and modern engineering practices
Technical Skills:
- Strong technical writing and editing skills

Location: Main Multan Road, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore (Preference is Lahore)
Timings: Mon to Fri (9AM to 6PM)
