Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Technical Writer to work in our ATR Document Management department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) facility with every Friday off.
You will write and edit a variety of technical documents including presentations, reports, plans, or procedures related to operations, system specifications, research findings, or reviews at the ATR. You will report directly to the manager of the ATR Document Management department.
Responsibilities Include
Minimum Requirements
Level 1: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field. Level 2: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field and 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in the same fields.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Job Information
The pay range for this position is: Level 1 ($46,392 - $90,564) / Level 2 ($56,196 - $109,644). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
