Senior Content Designer

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Content Designer in Atlanta, GA.

Overview: The Mailchimp Content Delivery team is looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our team. You are a skilled, empathetic Content Designer who can research and interpret complex concepts. You are driven to problem solve and care deeply about helping others and providing a great customer experience. Responsibilities:

• Create written help content for in-product and out-of-product use
• Write and maintain documentation for users
• Collaborate with product team members, engineers, and other cross-functional teams
• Test and research Mailchimp's app features
• Conduct content audits and help maintain existing help content
• Identify user needs using data and feedback
• Analyze, understand, and own the performance of our content

Requirements:

• BA in Journalism or related field preferred
• 4+ years of experience as an instructional and/or technical writer, copywriter, or related position
• Experience with content planning, editorial procedures, and evaluation
• Experience prioritizing, starting, and managing projects independently
• Experience working within product teams or domains and bringing up concerns in a group setting as needed
• Comfortable working with proprietary software or tools
• Tools: WordPress and Contentful, Content Management Systems
• Strong editorial background a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
