As a cross functional writing lead who specializes in content design, you will shape unique experiences to help users complete tasks on employee facing products. This role involves participating or leading the end-to-end design process, defining user experience (UX) writing workflows, and independently working on large complex technical projects. You will also oversee multiple projects under tight deadlines and advocate for the user.
As the writing lead, your responsibilities will include creating human-centered content design solutions, developing user experience models, identifying opportunities for improvement, leading teams through the development lifecycle, building partnerships, championing the brand, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
For this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive experience in user centered design processes, project management, and modern development standards is required. Strong skills in research, analysis, project management, and communication are also important, along with knowledge of web and mobile content best practices.
Desired qualifications include a Master's degree, education in Human Factors, UX Research, Psychology, and ADA certification.
This position is located in Vienna, VA; Pensacola, FL; Winchester, VA; San Diego, CA, and the work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM.
