As we continue to grow, we are looking for a new member to join our marketing team as a strategic and creative Content & Email Marketing Strategist.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Research and Editorial, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality content that establishes our authority in the nonprofit technology space while also developing and executing an email marketing strategy that supports our goals to increase lead engagement, grow product awareness, and build trust in our brand. You’ll work cross-functionally with Growth Marketing and Product Marketing to ensure your email programs align with their respective strategies to engage customers and downfunnel leads. Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and execute content strategies across owned and organic channels to drive awareness, engagement, and demand generation.
Craft interesting, well-researched content—including blog posts, website copy, eBooks, case studies, white papers, and video scripts—that aligns with brand messaging, style, and voice.
Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop industry and role-based messaging to support go-to-market strategies.
Own the full content lifecycle, including pitching, research, execution, promotion, reporting, and optimization.
Analyze content performance and share insights with stakeholders, identifying opportunities to improve engagement and pipeline influence.
Lead content experiments and initiatives to enhance audience engagement and user experience while balancing speed and quality.
Develop and optimize top-of-funnel email marketing strategies, including newsletters, content promotions, and segmented 1:many lead nurture campaigns.
Align email marketing efforts with the Growth Marketing and Product Marketing teams to maintain a consistent narrative with their respective sales-led, customer retention, and product adoption email campaigns.
Partner with our Marketing Automation Specialist to definte target segments, campaign goals, and ideal frequency for list and drip email campaigns.
Own email performance metrics, working closely with our Marketing Automation Specialist to derive insights and propose testing strategies to increase reach, open rates, and CTR.
Maintain an email marketing calendar to ensure consistent content delivery throughout the year.
Collaborate with Design, Product Marketing, and Demand Generation teams to align email strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
Track, analyze, and report on content and email performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Conduct A/B tests and creative experiments to grow email reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices, brand standards, and strategic messaging.
