About The Role

We're looking for a Senior Content & Language Designer to shape the content and conversational experiences for our AI-powered wellness coach. This role is primarily focused on content design and strategy, but also incorporates deep contributions to conversation design and feedback on visual interaction design.

You'll define content systems and guidelines that shape trust, clarity, and emotional connection across our products. From microcopy to interaction flow to conceptual frameworks, you'll help our AI coach communicate in a natural, empathetic way and ensure that it empowers families to make meaningful choices for their well-being.

You'll collaborate closely with product, visual design, engineering, and AI/ML teams to craft experiences that are consistent, human-centered, and grounded in care.

What You'll Get To Do

• Drive content design across interfaces, including app UX writing, user guidance, system content, and cross-surface communications.
• Define scalable content strategies, tone and voice systems, and editorial guidelines across the product.
• Translate behavioral science and health insights into clear, actionable, and emotionally supportive content.
• Collaborate with conversation designers and AI teams to co-create prompts and shape LLM-driven interactions.
• Work with research to evaluate content experiences based on user testing, analytics, and qualitative feedback.
• Develop and maintain content libraries that support product consistency and scale.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to build aligned, inclusive, and accessible user experiences.
• Support ethical content standards in AI and wellness, especially when working with sensitive health-related topics.
• Support LLM evaluation with cross-functional partners with examples, training data, and results analysis.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or content strategy for digital products.
• Strong portfolio of user-centered writing that includes flows, systems, and strategic frameworks.
• Broad experience across the language space, including conversation design.
• Familiarity with AI-driven experiences (e.g., prompt design, LLM tuning).
• Ability to collaborate deeply with product, visual design, research, and engineering teams.
• Expertise in defining voice and tone, writing guidelines, and creating reusable content systems.
• Strong editorial and systems thinking, with the ability to scale content across surfaces and use cases.
• Experience in wellness, coaching, or health-related content is a plus.
• Comfortable working in 0→1 product environments, and motivated by building meaningful tools for families.

Grade level and salary ranges are determined primarily through the scope and complexity of the role along with a review of the applicant’s experience and skills, as well as alignment with geographic market data and equity with other team members.
