About Paradromics
Brain-related illness is one of the last great frontiers in medicine, not because the brain is unknowable, but because it has been inaccessible. Paradromics is building a brain-computer interface (BCI) platform that records brain activity at the highest possible resolution: the individual neuron. AI algorithms then decode this massive amount of brain-data, enabling the seamless translation of thought into treatments.
Our first clinical application, the Connexus® BCI, will help people who are unable to speak, due to ALS, spinal cord injuries and stroke, to communicate independently through digital devices. However, the capabilities of our BCI platform go far beyond our first application. With the brain in direct communication with digital devices, we can leverage technology to transform how we treat conditions ranging from sensory and motor deficits to untreatable mental illness.
The Role
We're looking for a Content Strategist who is part storyteller, part digital native, and part analytics guru. This person will need to understand and translate our highly technical product and industry into clear compelling language across various digital platforms for multiple audiences. If you can dream-up a big marketing idea, define the KPIs, and write the corresponding content — we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Strategy: Develop and execute content strategies that align with our brand goals and don’t make people’s eyes glaze over.
- Social: Build and execute a social roadmap: identify narrative gaps, jump on timely topics, and create a strategy to stand out in tech and biotech circles. We want someone who understands the culture of tech today — the memes, the debates, and the KOLs.
- Write: Create crisp, readable content for social, Web, blog, PowerPoint, white papers, and public relations.
- Analytics: Optimize for reach and impact (SEO/key word analysis/KPI tracking) and the needs of our key audiences (investors, clinical, academic, the tech crowd, the "smart but curious" public, and employees). Keep your ear to the ground on emerging platforms, social trends, and conversations that matter to our world (AI, neuroscience, tech culture, and neuro-medical devices).
Required Education
4-year college degree
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years developing content for a technical industry: hardware/software, AI, or healthcare/pharmaceutical/med device.
- Demonstrate an ability to understand and distill complicated topics. Must provide a writing sample that’s sharp, tech-savvy, with a bold streak (does not need to be formatted in a fancy digital portfolio.)
- Experience growing an online presence that required hitting KPIs (growth, engagement, or earned media.)
- Deep familiarity with LinkedIn, Twitter, or other social platforms.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and pushing back (nicely) when a suggestion doesn’t support our content strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Content strategy or writing examples with humor or cleverness. (Feel free to share examples from your personal feed in addition to business writing.)
- Experience creating a marketing campaign that got people talking and/or was memorable.
- Experience (and shareable examples) using AI tools to repurpose and accelerate content creation. Experience with SEO tools and digital marketing strategies.
