UX Copywriter

Our client, a telecommunications leader, is looking for a UX Copywriter focused on digital experiences that are intuitive, innovative, and seamless. We are looking for builders and impactful leaders who value accountability in creativity and deliver breakthrough digital solutions that effectively attract and retain customers. This role is deeply customer-focused and passionate about crafting content that keeps users front and center while delivering on business needs. With a focus on delivering innovative experiences and content for a large-scale digital platform, this person is a stickler for details — someone who loves grammar and proper punctuation and spots a typo a mile away. They will focus on the user journey across digital experiences and write content using a blend of UX best practices and marketing aptitude.

Duration: until July 2026 with potential to extend

Remote, EST hours

Rate: $50-60/hr based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Partner with UX designers on requests from concept through delivery
• Collaborate seamlessly with stakeholder groups including marketing, sales, brand, business units, and product owners
• Elevate the craft of copywriting by creating outstanding content aligned to brand guidelines and digital best practices
• Approach work with a content strategy mindset: start with the “why,” assess business and customer needs, and push back when appropriate
• Advocate for consistency in written voice and messaging across all projects
• Ensure content is inclusive, accessible, and meets technical delivery specifications and formatting requirements
• Collaborate with product teams to evaluate and prioritize features, balancing business and user needs
• Participate in and/or lead workshops to support discovery and better understand user needs
• Present creative work confidently to stakeholders, users, and development teams in both formal and informal settings
• Be willing, able, and excited to roll up your sleeves and write
• Work both collaboratively and independently, leading projects and initiatives autonomously
• Serve as a liaison and spokesperson with stakeholders and product owners
• Actively participate in regular internal and partner meetings
• Support digital writing needs across multiple projects, products, and experiences
• Think content-first in design to provide relevant information and improve overall user experience
• Help communicate value and define what customers are getting as they make purchase or engagement decisions

Required Qualifications:

• 5–7+ years of relevant experience
• Detail-oriented with a strong love for grammar, punctuation, and polish
• Understands the power of words as a design tool
• Passionate about writing and the impact of language on the customer experience
• Experience in content strategy within a UX team on web and mobile products
• In tune with culture and modern language usage
• Experience with design thinking or human-centered design is a plus
• Proactive, analytical, and highly organized
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and deadlines
