Most people can do far more than their CV manages to say. The problem you solved, the person you helped, the moment you stepped up — it gets forgotten, flattened into tired bullet points, or lost the second an opportunity appears and you're asked to prove yourself from scratch.

We think that's backwards. Talent isn't scarce. Translation is.

Stoorie is a voice-first app that fixes it. You talk to it about what you actually did; it hands back a clear, honest, written account of your own experience — usable in interviews, applications, appraisals, LinkedIn, personal statements. It invents nothing. It just makes sure you never lose the proof of your own work again.

We're live in beta on the App Store and Google Play. Now we need someone to tell the world.

The Role:

You are our first content hire. That word matters — you're not slotting into a machine someone else built, you're building the machine. The mission and positioning are sharp and set; the content engine that carries them to the right people doesn't exist yet. That's yours to build, with the founder, from the ground up.

If "there's no playbook yet, go make one" excites you rather than worries you, keep reading. If you need a system handed to you, this isn't your role.

What you will build on your own

• The audience map. Work out exactly who we're for, where they gather, and what actually makes them stop scrolling — then aim everything there. You bring the outside signal in.
• The content engine. A rhythm and a body of work — social, written, long-form, learning pieces — in a voice that's warm, candid, and stands beside the reader instead of talking down to them.
• Community. Read and respond as Stoorie across channels. Some people arrive at their most vulnerable — job loss, interview dread, "I never know what to say about myself." You meet that with honesty and warmth, and you know when to bring it to the founder.
• The feedback loop. Every week, tell us what you're learning — what people asked for, what confused them, the exact words they used. You become our early-warning system for what to build and say next.

Who we are looking for

• You've built content from little or nothing before — a brand, a channel, a startup's presence — and can show what it became.
• A portfolio that proves results, not just pretty posts or follower counts. We care what your work did.
• A strong, human writer who can shift tone for different readers without losing the thread.
• Emotionally literate — you can speak to someone's career anxiety without being glib or salesy.
• Honest by instinct. Our entire brand rests on this.
• Independent and reliable in a fully remote setup. You own the rhythm and hit it.
• Short-form video skills are a real plus, not a requirement.

Compensation

₦300,000–400,000/month, and genuinely negotiable for someone exceptional who's done this before. We'd rather have an honest conversation about what it takes to get the right person than pretend there's one fixed number. Fully remote, anywhere.
