Technical Writer

We at the forefront of revolutionizing supply chain, warehouse, and inventory management solutions by providing real-time visibility into assets and shipments.

Our dedicated team collaborates closely with the Product team to architect and uphold cutting-edge technologies that power our core platform, customer-facing API’s, and real-time events processing tailored specifically for the challenges in the supply chain industry. We tackle compelling technical hurdles, working with data from our fleet of IoT to provide real-time visibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards
• Work closely with Product & Engineering teams to understand project requirements to develop, organize, and write user/procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
• Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation
• Creates infographics and screenshot markups.
• Write, edits, and help sections updates User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) copy.
• Creates and builds out user assistance infrastructure, including how-to sections, FAQs, and Help sections.
• Updates, edits, and proofreads written materials such as product manuals, user manuals, how-to guides, and FAQs

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience as an effective technical writer
• Bachelors or relevant degree in technical field/Writing/Communications or Computers
• Understanding of SDLC cycle & experience in using XML tools to create documentation
• Familiarity with content and learning management systems
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
• Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
• Excellent written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in working with engineers to improve user experience (ex: design, UI), refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to Haves

• Experience working with Supply Chain & Logistics domain
• Professional certification (ex: Society for Technical Communication)
