Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative content professional to shape and maintain the content strategy and information architecture for our career site and related candidate-facing web experiences. In this fully remote contract role, you will play a pivotal part in helping candidates understand who we are, what we offer, and why they should join our team. By partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, Employer Brand, Design, and Web/Engineering teams, you will plan, structure, create, and optimize content that is clear, inclusive, and grounded in UX best practices, ensuring every candidate touchpoint reflects our employer brand and values.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the career site content strategy and structure, including landing pages and key candidate journeys such as job search, job detail, and application flows
- Create and maintain sitemaps, page flows, and navigation structures that reflect user needs and business priorities
- Conduct regular content audits to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities to simplify and improve the candidate experience
- Help define page templates, messaging hierarchy, and reusable content patterns
- Write and edit candidate-facing content for the career site, including "Life at Company" narratives, department and role overview pages, and campaign or initiative-specific landing pages
- Translate internal and technical information into clear, candidate-friendly language
- Ensure all content reflects the employer brand, is inclusive, and follows accessibility and readability best practices
- Apply UX methods such as simple wireframes, content models, and stakeholder and user feedback to propose improvements to page structure and flows
- Use analytics including traffic, engagement, and conversion data alongside qualitative insights to inform decisions and prioritize work
- Apply SEO best practices to career site content, including keyword research, metadata, and on-page optimization
Skills
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and user-centered content
- Proficiency in shaping site structures including sitemaps, navigation, and page flows
- Ability to apply UX methods and produce UX artifacts such as flows, simple wireframes, and journey maps
- Comfort using data and insights including analytics, search terms, and user feedback to inform content and UX decisions
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and basic accessibility standards for web content
- Experience working cross-functionally with design, UX, marketing, talent acquisition, and web development teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Hands-on experience with content management systems and standard publishing workflows
- Exposure to web analytics tools and basic experimentation or A/B testing
- Experience creating content and navigation for global audiences, including working with localization
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in content strategy, content design, UX writing, or a related UX and content role with a focus on web experiences
- Demonstrated experience shaping site structures and producing content for websites
- A portfolio showcasing clear, concise, user-centered content and UX artifacts
- Experience with talent acquisition, employer brand, or HR-focused content such as career sites, job descriptions, or candidate communications is preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, UX Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
