As a Content and Creative Strategist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing SEO-driven content and organic social media strategies aligned with client goals and KPIs
- Writing, editing, and overseeing conversion-focused copy for emails, landing pages, ads, blogs, social media, SMS, and websites
- Conducting keyword research and optimizing content using SEO and CRO best practices
- Managing content and social media calendars while ensuring timely delivery across campaigns
- Ensuring all content is high-quality, consistent, on-brand, and aligned with messaging guidelines
- Collaborating with SEO, PPC, design, strategy, and account management teams to execute integrated campaigns
- Analyzing campaign and content performance metrics to optimize engagement, traffic, and conversions
- Leading client communications, presentations, and strategic discussions related to content and organic social initiatives
- Identifying client growth opportunities, recommending additional services, and contributing to revenue development
- May lead, mentor, and manage a small team of content coordinators and junior copywriters
Email Marketing
- Developing email marketing strategies aligned to each client's business goals (acquisition, retention, revenue)
- Building and maintaining master campaign calendars across the client portfolio
- Defining segmentation and list hygiene standards
- Setting KPI benchmarks and reporting cadence for email performance
- Auditing existing flows and campaigns and identifying optimization opportunities
- Overseeing copywriting and design briefs for email production
- Reviewing and approving campaigns before deployment
- Analyzing performance data and translating into actionable recommendations for clients
- Identifying automation and flow opportunities (welcome, abandon, post-purchase, winback)
- Staying current on deliverability best practices and platform updates (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.)
Organic Social Media
- Developing platform-specific social strategies per client (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
- Defining content pillars, tone of voice, and posting cadence per brand
- Building and maintaining monthly content calendars
- Briefing and overseeing content creation (copy, creative direction, UGC guidance)
- Reviewing and approving content before publishing
- Monitoring community engagement and setting response protocols
- Analyzing organic social performance and reporting on growth, reach, and engagement
- Identifying trending formats and opportunities relevant to each client's audience
- Aligning social strategy with broader campaign moments (launches, promotions, seasonal)
- Coordinating with influencer workstream where organic and influencer content overlap
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, SEO, or digital marketing
- 2–3 years of leadership or team management experience
- Experience working with SaaS and/or e-commerce brands preferred
- Fully bilingual in English and French (written and spoken)
- Strong expertise in SEO, keyword research, content optimization, and organic social media strategy
- Exceptional copywriting, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills
- Experience with SaaS and/or e-commerce clients & agency experience preferred
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and CMS platforms
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities
