Technical Writer

This position will lead the development of SOP documentation for Infotainment Software, Hardware, and Telematics testing processes. Role would be focused in the creation and organization of SOP procedures. Currently, processes are not documented effectively and the Technical Writer would work on creating SOP reporting and manuals for testing procedures to improve efficiencies

The main roles and responsibilities would be the following:

• Learning different aspects of the product development.
• Using learned aspects, creates process documents for performed tasks. Such as process description, work steps and inputs/outputs for given activities.
• Listening to identify tasks, who is responsible and generalizing these to an overall task list to clarify roles and responsibilities amongst groups & departments.
• Prepare training materials related to process documents to facilitate new employee learning
• Review created process documents/material with product teams, revise as needed then receive approval.
• Post and Maintain repository of process documentation
• Establish process documentation structure and guidelines
