Texas Lab Technologies is seeking a dedicated Alibaba / Ecommerce Content Manager to lead the creation and optimization of product content across multiple ecommerce platforms. This role focuses on developing and executing a strategic content plan to improve product visibility, customer engagement, and sales performance on platforms such as Alibaba and Shopify. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in ecommerce content management, excellent copywriting skills, and a strong understanding of ecommerce marketplaces and product listing optimization. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to produce accurate and persuasive product descriptions that align with brand guidelines and market trends.
The Alibaba / Ecommerce Content Manager works independently, managing content projects without direct team oversight but collaborating closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure consistent and high-quality content delivery. This position plays a critical role in driving brand presence and customer trust by delivering optimized and compelling content that supports the company's growth objectives in the competitive ecommerce sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive product content strategies tailored to Alibaba, Shopify, and other ecommerce platforms to maximize product visibility and conversion rates.
- Create and edit clear, concise, and persuasive product descriptions, ensuring they are accurate, optimized for search algorithms, and aligned with brand voice and standards.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to inform content creation and identify opportunities for differentiation within ecommerce channels.
- Manage product listing optimization, including keyword integration, feature highlights, and compliance with platform-specific requirements and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and product management to gather information, ensure content accuracy, and support promotional campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to continually improve content effectiveness and adapt strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all ecommerce content, ensuring timely updates and accuracy as product details or market conditions change.
