Cavallo is seeking a Senior Content & Media Strategist to drive our content vision, shape brand storytelling, and lead media planning across all digital channels. This high-impact role is ideal for a seasoned marketing professional with a passion for compelling content, data-driven strategy, and multi-channel execution.
As a senior leader on the marketing team, you will manage and execute content creation, editorial strategy, and digital media initiatives to elevate Cavallo’s brand presence, engage key audiences, and support business growth. You will collaborate cross-functionally to create high-performing content and lead integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Lead Content Strategy – Define and execute a content roadmap that aligns with business objectives, audience needs, and brand positioning.
- Own Editorial & Messaging Framework – Establish brand voice, messaging pillars, and storytelling guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
- Lead Multi-Channel Media Planning – Manage and execute content distribution strategy across web, social, email, paid media, and emerging channels.
- Content Development & Execution – Write, edit, and manage high-impact B2B content, including blog articles, thought leadership pieces, case studies, email campaigns, and social content.
- Social Media Strategy & Oversight – Develop and manage organic and paid social media initiatives to increase brand engagement and audience growth.
- SEO & Performance Optimization – Implement best practices for content structure, keyword strategy, and digital marketing analytics to maximize visibility and impact.
- Campaign & Event Support – Develop and support content strategy for product launches, demand generation campaigns, and major events, including Cavallo’s annual user conference, ELAVATE.
- Measure & Optimize Performance – Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) to track content effectiveness, measure engagement, and refine strategies for continuous improvement.
This may be the job for you if:
- You have 7+ years of experience in content marketing, digital media, or brand strategy, preferably in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- You are a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and digital marketing.
- You are a strong communicator who can turn complex ideas into engaging, impactful content.
- You have a proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- You are an expert in SEO, digital advertising, and social media marketing, with a strong grasp of content performance metrics.
- You have hands-on experience with content management systems (WordPress), marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Pardot), and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
- You possess strong editorial skills, with the ability to write and edit compelling, high-quality content.
- You are experienced in leading cross-functional marketing campaigns and working closely with designers, product marketers, and external partners.
- You are a highly adaptable professional who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- You have a strong knowledge of SaaS business models, customer journeys, and demand generation tactics (preferred).
