Location: San Bruno, hybrid
Job Type: 6 month assignment with potential for extension
Compensation Range: $80 - 90/hr W2
Our client's UX team designs the end-to-end experiences for online media on all TV platforms. Their mission is to bring the best of online media to the home, which includes smart TVs, video game consoles, set top boxes, smart displays and speakers, and streaming sticks.
Responsibilities:
- Write clear and concise user-interface language.
- Work collaboratively and closely with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to define requirements, design, and business objectives with a strong focus on the user.
- Follow style and product-specific style guides.
- Document and maintain writing guidelines for internal stakeholders.
- Scale impact by defining and documenting principles and patterns.
- Build and maintain relationships with UX content design partners on multiple different products to ensure consistency and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Literature, Business, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of relevant UX writing experience, or related, as well as leading content strategy projects.
- Strong UX writing and editing skills, especially in media and for multiple platforms including TV.
- Experience translating complex concepts into plain language.
- Experience on UX-focused product writing and content design that scales across different platforms.
- Experience working on global brands/experiences and localization, i18n.
- Analytical thinking about customer journeys and content flows, framing and scaling content design solutions.
- Comfortable with A/B testing - forming a hypothesis and building off results.
- Portfolio highlighting UX-focused writing samples and style guidelines.
