Job Summary
CourtAvenue is seeking a Senior Content Strategist to lead the development of high-performing e-commerce content. This role focuses on scaling content production through AI-enabled workflows, leveraging deep expertise in retailer content capabilities, SEO, and content syndication to drive conversion across digital shelves.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Development at Scale: Create high-performing digital shelf content (text, ATF headlines, enhanced content, Amazon Stores) using AI tools to scale production while maintaining quality.
- Content Optimization: Apply SEO best practices and keyword research to optimize content for retailer algorithms and AI shopping assistants; develop optimization frameworks.
- AI-Enabled Workflows: Identify and integrate AI tools into content workflows; build repeatable processes for content production, refinement, and governance.
- Strategy Execution: Align content deliverables with category research and brand guidelines; translate insights into measurable programs across Amazon, Walmart, and other retailers.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner with designers, copywriters, and account teams; mentor junior strategists to elevate team output.
- Research & Analytics: Utilize industry trends, competitive analysis, and performance metrics to refine strategies and demonstrate impact.
- Project Management: Manage timelines and milestones for multiple concurrent projects to ensure consistency and on-time delivery.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in content creation, optimization, and strategy specifically for e-commerce platforms.
- Proven experience developing and optimizing Product Detail Page (PDP) content with demonstrated results on Amazon and Walmart.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and integrations for content production at scale.
- Strong understanding of retailer content capabilities (e.g., Amazon Stores vs. Walmart Brand Shop & Shelf).
- Experience managing content in PIMs/DAMs such as Salsify and Syndigo.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in collaborative teams, managing multiple projects, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce trends, retailer algorithms, AI shopping assistants, and evolving customer behaviors.
