UX Content Designer

Our client, a dynamic player in the high-tech industry, is seeking a UX Content Designer to join their team. As a UX Content Designer, you will be part of the Services Customer Communications team supporting various product groups. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling skills, a high level of self-motivation, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: UX Content Designer

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $43 per hour

What's the Job?

• Simplify internal technical and non-technical information to compose quality writing in the form of email messages, notification texts, and other communications that our customers can understand.
• Craft, write, edit, test, and improve content to align with the brand voice and the Services style guide.
• Evaluate the customer’s communication journey across different channels to understand what information is relevant and useful.
• Collaborate with designers, writers, developers, and other key stakeholders to create, test, and improve communications.
• Stay informed of trends in content design and UX to evolve best practices.

What's Needed?

• 6+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, journalism, technical publishing, or related fields; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree or PhD; or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience working directly in UX writing, content design, content strategy, or information architecture.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and compelling content for different use case scenarios.
• Superior editing and proofreading skills, with experience writing for the web using inclusive language.
• Fluency in United States English, both written and verbal, with a portfolio showcasing written work.
