Job Title: Content Designer

Location: Vancouver, Canada (Work from Office)

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Content Design, UX Writing, or related roles, preferably in digital product or consulting environments.
• 4+ years of experience writing plain-language content, with a strong focus on clarity, usability, and accessibility.
• 4+ years of experience designing UI content, including labels, navigation elements, and instructional text within digital interfaces.
• 3+ years of experience crafting error messages and system feedback, ensuring usability and user recovery.
• 3+ years of experience defining and applying tone and voice frameworks, including tone ladders for different user contexts.
• 3+ years of experience writing support and status microcopy, such as notifications, alerts, confirmations, and progress messaging.
• 3+ years of client-facing or consulting experience, including stakeholder engagement and workshop participation.
• Familiarity with UX design processes, including user flows, wireframes, and prototyping tools like Figma.
• Understanding of accessibility guidelines, plain language principles, and WCAG standards.
• Experience contributing to or working with design systems and content style guides.
• Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder presentation skills.
• Ability to connect content decisions with business goals such as conversion, engagement, and user satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Business, Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience in consulting engagements and client-facing environments.
• Relevant certifications in Design Thinking, UX Strategy, Service Design, and Product Management.
