Typical Duties

• Work within the technical writing team to develop maintenance documentation for the aerospace and defense industry.
• Provide Subject Matter Experts experience to the writing team and illustrators to develop the most comprehensive and concise information possible.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet budget and schedule constraints and delivery requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

• Demonstrates a willingness to learn new things and enjoys solving puzzles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as XML, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with S1000D, ATA2200, DITA and/or MIL-Spec specifications.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.
• Adaptability and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure with professionalism and accuracy.
• Experience in one or more of the following industries: aerospace, defense, transportation, or energy.
