About the Role
We're looking for a Content Strategist to drive content planning and execution across our client portfolio spanning Corporate, BFSI/Fintech, and other Brands. You'll own the content strategy end-to-end, from ideation to publishing, while ensuring that SEO, SMO, AEO, and GEO best practices are built into everything we create.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Meet with creative, marketing, and design teams to ideate and define content goals
- Campaign creation, management and monitoring
- Research content and consumer trends to ensure content remains relevant and appealing
- Develop content strategies that effectively reach target audiences and marketing goals
- Create content for various digital platforms, including blogs, websites, and social media
- Proofread and edit content before publishing
- Ensure SEO and SMO strategies are effectively implemented across all content
- Create and manage monthly content calendars, ensuring consistency across all platforms
- Coordinate with marketing, design, and writing teams to ensure timely delivery of assignments
- Track consumer and content analytics; generate client reports and presentations
- Stay current with content trends, consumer preferences, and technology advancements, including AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation)
- Maintain organised content drives and storage systems for all clients
- Ensure all content delivered is error-free, non-plagiarised, and free of AI-generated markers, strictly adhering to client briefs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, English, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in content strategy/writing (agency experience preferred)
- Strong command of written English with excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Working knowledge of SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar)
- Understanding of AEO and GEO principles - optimising content for AI search engines and answer engines (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, etc.)
- Familiarity with SMO practices across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Ability to manage multiple client content calendars simultaneously
- Strong research skills and ability to adapt tone/voice across different brand personas
- Strong presentation skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for creating client reports, content calendars, and strategy decks
